1. How long have you been a wedding coordinator?

My first wedding was in 1992 at a local chapel where the bride dressed in a beautiful floor length navy blue formal gown with a bouquet of sunflowers ,greenery and roses tied in satin ribbon.

2. Did you start your business from scratch or did you buy a business already setup?

I started this business myself. I would never purchase someone else’s reputation.

3. Is this your full-time job or part-time job?

This is my fulltime job.

4. How many full-service weddings do you personally coordinate each year?

An average of one per week.

5. What type of formal training have you had?

I performed as a coordinator’s assistant while taking college credited wedding consultant courses.

6. Are you a member of any major bridal or wedding/special event trade associations?

Yes, I am a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants

7. Do they require that you have formal training each year for membership or do you simply pay them dues?

They have courses to take each year to advance your training.

8. What are some adjectives you would use to describe yourself .

Friendly, Outgoing, Very Personable, Detailed, Reliable and Dependable.  I am determined to do what is necessary to make your wedding day a success.

9. Describe the most difficult wedding you've managed and why was it difficult?

The most dutiful, although I wouldn’t refer to it as difficult was when a future mother-in-law tried to take over the ceremony against the bride‘s wishes. I had to step in and take control of the issue.  Everything ended in smiles.

10. Describe the best wedding you've ever managed. Why was it the best wedding?

My best wedding was held at Whitfield Square in downtown Savannah.  The harpist played beautifully.  And the bride was beautiful as she arrived in the Cinderella Carriage with her Prince Charming by her side.  The guests were struck with awe with her beauty and her elegance.  The gazebo was dressed with a wrought iron chandelier with ferns hanging from the sides, with a table set up and dressed accordingly inside the gazebo with champagne and toasting goblets for the guests to toast the happy couple before proceeding to the reception site.

It was the best because the bride wasn‘t expecting to be picked up in a Cinderella carriage.  The bride, groom, and families were such awesome people.  We worked so well together.

11. Do you employ other people to help you plan events?

Yes, I have a team of qualified assistants that help me with necessary assignments.

17. How many hours are you on site the day of the wedding?

As many as required.

29. Are you present at all vendor meetings?

Yes, I am normally at all vendor meetings unless you prefer to attend alone.

30. Do you make initial contact with all referred vendors and check price and availability or do you give us a list of vendors for us to call?

I will do whichever one you prefer.  I am here to make this process easier for you.

31. Describe some problems you've had with vendors not fulfilling their contract and how you handled it.

Vendor issues have fortunately have never been a problem.  When, however, if a vendor doesn‘t seem to want to work with my client I do not hesitate to replace them with a vendor with the same qualifications that will.
